Recycled and Upcycled Holiday Ideas

We shouldn't stop thinking about recycling or upcycling during the holidays.  In fact it is a great time for that!  Here are some ideas.  I wish I knew who to give credit to for the pictures or ideas, but these are all passed around so much the credit has been lost. 


Christmas Door Ornament Recycling Idea Using Old Rake



Recycle brown paper bags as gift wrap and some leftover ribbon or twine for a sprig of pine or holly.  Add a copy of a black and white photo and you have a beautiful gift for next to nothing. 



Here is an idea to upcycle those little battery operated tealights.  I found these at the Dollar Tree for $1. a 2 pack.

alot of fans asked about the hats,they are pre made hats found in the craft section/store. one could use a black button for the bottom part and black felt rolled up for the top part and glue it together also should someone not be able to find the pre made ones!!

This is a great little gift idea -


Use old credit cards (or those fake ones they always send in the mail), cut to size. glue on scrapbook paper, pictures, stickers... add a layer of modge podge to seal.....
