~Homemade Finger Paint
3 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup corn starch
1/4 cup clear liquid dish soap
2 cups water
Mix together sugar, salt and cornstarch in a small pan, then slowly add cold water.
Cook over low heat, stirring until the mixture becomes a smooth; almost clear gel about 5 minutes.
When it's cool, stir in clear dishwashing liquid.
Scoop equal amounts of the mixture into containers and stir in food coloring or, for even more vibrant colors, use food-coloring paste.

1 cup distilled drinking water
1 tbsp dish soap
1 tsp of Glycerin (Glycerin is usually found in the first aid section. Ask the pharmacist if you can't find it.)
Bubble wand
Clean glove or sock for your hand ( keeps the bubble from popping)
Mix all ingredients together in a container
Let sit for 12 - 24 hours
Blow the bubbles and you can catch and bounce them

Homemade Bouncy Ball
2 cups
Measuring spoons
A stir stick
2 tbsp hot water
1/2 tsp borax
1 tbsp glue
1 tbsp corn starch
Food coloring (optional)
Pour the water and borax into the first cup and stir the mixture until it is dissolved.
Pour the glue, cornstarch and food coloring into the second cup and mix. Then add the mixture from the first cup into the second cup.
Let the ingredients sit for 15 seconds then stir.
Once the mixture becomes difficult to stir, scoop it out of the cup, and roll it into a ball. Enjoy

Cinnamon in the Sandbox--- Did anyone else know this????
Now that its getting warmer, the kids are going to want to play in the sandbox.
Cinnamon in the Sandb...ox keeps the bugs away! I knew cinnamon repelled ants... but I never thought of this! Brilliant! I've also heard it will keep the cats out.

Super-Safe Craft Tape Center - 1"
Markers
Newspaper
Directions
Have an adult help you cut the bottoms off the bottles. Once this is done, wash the bottles well and leave them out to dry.
Decorate the outside of the bottles with craft tape and markers. Be sure to use tape to cover the edge!
Make a simple ball out of crumpled-up newspaper. Wrap the ball in craft tape.
Use the ball catchers to toss and catch the newspaper ball.See More
