Natural Bubble Bath Recipes

Foaming Bath Salts

Things you will need for Foaming Bath Salt preparation:
  • 1/2 cup liquid soap
  • Food coloring
  • 1 tablespoon light oil
  • 6 cups rock salt crystals
Preparation of Foaming Bath Salts:
  • In a ceramic bowl or a nonmetallic container, mix the liquid soap, oil and food color to make a smooth paste.
  • Pour this paste on the rock salt crystals in another bowl.
  • Keep on stirring until the salts are uniformly coated.
  • Take a cookie sheet covered with wax paper and spread the salts in a very fine thin layer.
  • Allow it to dry in the open air for at least 24 hours.

Olive Honey Bubble Bath

Ingredients for Olive Honey Bubble Bath:
  • 1-cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup liquid soap
  • 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
Preparation of Olive Honey Bubble Bath:
  • Put all the ingredients in a machine blender for a smooth mixture.
  • Strain the mixture to get rid of any possible lumps.
  • Store the mixture in an airtight container.
Using Olive Honey Bubble Bath:
  • Shake the container well before use.
  • Use about ¼ cup of the preparation for a single bath.
  • Pour the preparation in a muslin bag and keep it under warm running water inside the tub.
  • Slip in the tub after a few minutes and relax while bathing.

Almond Honey Bubble Bath

Ingredients for Almond Honey Bubble Bath:
  • 1-tablespoon of light oil, preferably sweet almond oil
  • 1-tablespoon almond extract
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1-tablespoon glycerin
  • 1/2 cup liquid soap
Preparation of Almond Honey Bubble Bath:
  • In a porcelain or glass pot pour 1/2 cup honey and 1/2 cup liquid soap, blend them well until smooth.
  • Add glycerin and almond extract and mix again.
  • In the end add 1-tablespoon of sweet almond oil
  • You can make this preparation in moderate amount and use it in small proportions as and when needed.
Using Almond Honey Bath recipe:
  • You can use about ¼ cup of this mixture for a single bath.
  • Mix in your bath water, then slip into the tub and allow your body to relax.
  • You can even pour the blend in a muslin cloth and keep it under the flowing water inside the tub.

Milk Bath Recipes

Satin Milk Scrub:

Ingredients: 3 cups powder milk, few drops of orange oil, one small muslin bag, 4 tablespoons almond meal, 1 cup oatmeal.
Preparation: Mix all the ingredients properly and store in a glass jar. During your bath, take half cup of the mixture, pour in the muslin bag and soak in tub water.

Mint Milk Bath Recipe:

Ingredients: 2 cups dry milk powder, 4 tablespoon of crushed mint leaves, 1/2 cup sea salt, 1 cup cornstarch
Preparation: Take crushed mint leaves and mix with the other ingredients. Mix well before storing in glass jar. The mint leaves impart a beautiful fragrance.

Patchouli Milk Bath Recipe:

Ingredients: a single cup of powdered milk, 2-3 drops patchouli scented oil, 1/4 cup of sea salt
Preparation: Combine the powdered milk, sea salt and scented patchouli oil. Keep the bath mixture in a jar.

Frankincense Milk Bath

Ingredients: 1 cup powdered milk, 2-3 drops frankincense oil
Preparation: Combine the powdered milk and frankincense oil. Keep the bath mixture in a jar.

Courtyard Milk Bath Recipe

Ingredients: 2 cups dry powdered milk, 1/2 cup Epsom salts, 1/2 cup baking soda, 6 drops rose oil, 5 drops vanilla oil, 4 drops lavender oil, and 4 drops lemongrass oil.
Preparation: Mix all the ingredients in a large bowl and store in a glass jar.

Honey Milk Bath

Ingredients: 1/2 cup dry milk, 1/2 cup honey, 1-tablespoon glycerin, 1-tablespoon Almond extract.
Preparation: Combine all the ingredients and make fluffy blend with a wire wisk. There are quite a lot of other milk bath preparations besides the above mentioned ones.

Using Milk Bath Recipes

  • Always try to mix ingredients in ceramic bowls or nonmetallic containers.
  • After making the mixture, store in glass jar or any airtight container. Since these beauty recipes do not contain any artificial preservatives, they should always be refrigerated and used within 3 days of preparation.
  • Take about 1/4 cup of the bath preparation in a muslin cloth and soak it in the bathtub water or keep it under running water in the bathtub, before you get into the bathtub. Allow the milk bath recipe to mix with the water in the bathtub. Also, the water should be lukewarm to warm.
  • If you do not wish to use muslin, you can add the mixture directly in bath water and then take your bath.
